The Sea Museum is in Ischia Ponte located in the prestigious town house “Torre dell’ Orologio”. Inaugurated at the end of 1996, this museum has a series of artifacts that shows the peculiarity of the island history. Here you can admire antique utensils, that were used for fishing and to cultivate the land; in the typical life of people on the island.
How to get to the Sea Museum
The museum is situated in the village of Ischia Ponte about 2 km from Ischia Porto. It’s easy to get to by bus, arriving at Ischia Porto, central bus station, take the bus number 7, which goes from Ischia Porto to Ischia Ponte. If you are using a car, follow the main road that goes around the island that leads to Ischia Porto and then follow the sign which leads to Ischia Ponte, there you will find parking places.
